LANXESS impresses with sustainable innovations at in-cosmetics Asia!

The beauty and personal care industry in Thailand is currently in the spotlight. The in-cosmetics Asia 2025 will take place from November 4th to 6th, 2025 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center (BITEC). Presented here LANXESS its latest innovative solutions for this booming market segment.

Experts are eagerly awaiting the launch of Neolone® PH Max, a new type of preservative made from sunflower oil. It not only stands for environmentally friendly ingredients, but also offers broad protection against bacteria and fungi without being irritating. The program is complemented by Neolone® BioT, which consists of COSMOS-approved ingredients and brings sustainability into product development.

Focus on environmentally friendly solutions

With product highlights such as Saltidin®, LANXESS emphasizes that sustainable insect repellents are also trendy. This skin-friendly product offers long-lasting protection against mosquitoes and other insects and comes in a colorless and odorless form. Given the great importance of these topics, a technical seminar on Saltidin® formulations is also planned for November 5th, which will certainly be met with great interest.

LANXESS's vegan and sustainable focus is reflected in growing global demand. Even more so because the Thai beauty industry is considered a pioneer in the region and aims to further expand its global influence. Loud Doinasia Double-digit growth is expected in the premium cosmetics segment in 2025, strongly driven by demand for sustainable and transparent products.

Thailand as a pioneer in the beauty industry

With over 11,000 documented plant species, Thailand is a hotbed of innovation in cosmetics. The local manufacturers rely on ethical production methods and the traceability of ingredients back to the farm. This not only promotes sustainable exports, expected to reach $2.6 billion in 2023, but also a strong awareness of environmental protection and local botanical traditions.

Suppliers are constantly looking for new ways to bring high-quality cosmetics with Thai influence to the international stage. During the event there will be product innovations and discussions about production methods such as coconut oil extraction. In doing so, Thailand not only demonstrates its capacity, but also its commitment to sustainable practices and innovative approaches in the beauty industry.

The trend is clearly towards conscious and sustainable cosmetic design, while the region is increasingly seen as an interface between luxury, ecology and a rich cultural heritage.

Whether in product development or in the touted quality seals such as organic, vegan, fair trade and halal – transparency and sustainability are crucial. Anyone who doesn't jump on the bandwagon now could quickly fall behind in a rapidly changing industry.

in-cosmetics Asia 2025 promises to be a major meeting point for industry experts and innovators. It remains to be seen what new trends and products the participants will take home with them.
