JerHigh and Jinny: Thailand's premium pet food is conquering the world!

In a promising move for the Thai pet food industry, popular brands JerHigh and Jinny have set new standards at Pet Fair South East Asia 2025. According to Line, these pet snack brands are not only high in Thailand, but also rank 1st in ASEAN, as well as a respectable spot in the top 10 in Asia and top 20 worldwide. Their strategy of “Premiumization + Localization” ensures that not only quality but also Thai identity is integrated into the products.

During the exhibition, International Pet Food Co., Ltd. Managing Director Kritsada Limamphai introduced the new products, which are scheduled to be launched in the first quarter of 2026. Among other things, the “JerHigh Thai Taste” will be a unique snack that delights with its Thai aroma. “Jinny Nourish”, a super-premium wet food for cats, also stands out from the competition with its age-appropriate recipes that are gluten- and wheat-free. The focus is particularly on the use of high-quality ingredients such as fresh chicken and natural tuna ingredients that meet extensive quality standards. These standards are so high that the chicken meat meets the safety requirements for astronaut food.

Growth in the pet market

The Thai pet food industry is poised for significant growth, according to Thai Times. The market value is estimated to be around 46 billion baht by 2025, an increase of 12%. It's no secret: more and more Thais are picking up a leash and bringing a four-legged friend into their home. The number of pets will increase to around 5.38 million by 2025, with dogs and cats almost on par.

Dog food accounts for 76% of pet food sales, while cat food continues to be on the rise. Particularly noteworthy is the forecast annual growth of the cat population of 28% by 2025. In addition to the increase in pet ownership, the growing export of pet food also contributes to the healthy balance. Thai animal feed exports are estimated at around USD 3.1 billion in 2025, representing a personal growth rate of 15% annually.

Quality standards and competitive pressure

Despite the positive development, the industry faces intense competition. By the end of 2024, 317 companies are now registered in this sector, and production costs are rising due to fluctuating raw material prices. Imports of feed from abroad are also growing, with annual growth of 17% between 2019 and 2024. Thailand also faces challenges from environmental regulations and trade barriers that could complicate export opportunities.

The vision of International Pet Food Co., Ltd. One thing is clear: you want to emerge as a leading provider of innovative pet food from Thailand in the global market. It remains exciting to see what impact developments in the industry and the new products from JerHigh and Jinny will have in the coming years.
