Loy Krathong Festival in Bangkok: Beauty and tradition combined!
A glittering celebration of culture and beauty attracted scores of guests to the Loy Krathong Festival at the Chatrium Hotel Riverside in Bangkok last weekend. An event that simply shouldn't be missed!
On board was Miss Grand Thailand and Miss Universe Thailand, who attracted everyone's attention in their elegant dresses. The atmosphere sparkled with grace and magnificent cultural splendor. Special guests like “Kochbell”, who was awarded as the 1st runner-up of Miss Grand International 2025, and “Cheraim”, the beauty of Miss Globe 2025, contributed significantly to the celebration.
A celebration of traditions
The evening's program included not only impressive Thai performances, but also an unforgettable dinner under the sparkling moonlight. The combination of culinary delights and cultural performances ensured that visitors felt completely at home and were able to enjoy Thailand's traditions to the fullest. A big thank you goes out to all the beauties and guests who made this evening something very special.
The Loy Krathong Festival is more than just a dazzling spectacle; it combines the heritage and beauty that makes Thailand so unique. It offers everyone the opportunity to not only celebrate the country's cultural roots, but also to exchange ideas and have fun with like-minded people.
Painful losses and wistful thoughts
As we enjoy the festive events, thoughts of those we have lost are not lost. Those most recently affected include 95-year-old Merline Irene Black of Winchester, VA, on November 5, 2025, and two days earlier, 84-year-old Mildred L. Miller of Cross Junction, VA. Everett Gaylon Harding, 72, and Betty Jo See, 61, also leave their mark on the memory, accompanied by sadness for those they knew and loved.
These moments of celebration and remembrance show once again how important it is to appreciate beautiful moments and shared experiences. The Loy Krathong Festival touched people's hearts, and we hope that the memories of those who died also live on and take their place in the collective memory of the community.
A city of tradition and modernity, Bangkok continually reminds us to celebrate the beauty of life and cherish the memory of what we have lost.
