Thailand Attracts Tourists with Amazing Passport Privileges and Discounts!
Everything new in colorful Thailand! The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is bringing a breath of fresh air with the “Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges” campaign, now in its second year. With the slogan “Privilege Beyond Expectation,” the initiative aims to boost international tourist spending during peak season – and that’s no small feat! Because Thailand wants to position itself as the undisputed number one travel destination.
At Suvarnabhumi Airport, Minister of Tourism and Sports, Mr. Atthakorn Sirilatthayakorn visited the stand of this exciting campaign and explained its benefits. The campaign runs from November 1st to December 15th, 2025 and is already a hit: over 2,500 holidaymakers have registered to take part, with mainly tourists from China, India, Russia, France and the United Kingdom on their trips to Thailand.
Campaign highlights
A special treat are the souvenirs from the local communities, known as the “Amazing Bag”. These bags are brimming with treats and artisanal products that embody the heart of Thai culture. Tourists have the opportunity to take part in this promotion by showing their passport and secure the coveted products. Highlights include:

So we have a lot to look forward to! The initiative is supported by over 300 leading companies in Thailand offering discounts and special offers. This includes hotels, restaurants and tourism operators and has the potential to significantly enhance the industry.
A boost for tourism
The preparation for this great campaign is divided into five essential experiences: “Must Taste”, “Must Try”, “Must Buy”, “Must Seek” and “Must See”. Each point is intended to invite tourists to discover and enjoy the diversity of Thailand. According to the information provided by DID These promotions are expected to generate at least 400 million baht in revenue during the peak season.
The countdown for the 33rd SEA Games in December 2025 is already underway. The campaign is therefore as much a step to promote Thai hospitality as it is to increase tourist attractiveness.
