Gigantic Gundam models and global competitions in Bangkok!

There is currently an exciting event in Bangkok that is making the hearts of model building lovers beat faster. From November 1st to 9th, 2025, Siam Paragon and Siam Center in collaboration with Dream Toy Co., Ltd. will present. the “BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY EXHIBITION 2025”. This special exhibition is dedicated to the 45th anniversary of Gundam and has the theme “Fun to Build”.

The event will take place in the Jewel Hall on the 5th floor of the Siam Paragon and promises a packed program. An absolute highlight is the huge Gundam GQuuuuuuX, which will be seen in Southeast Asia for the first time at an impressive two meters high. Over 60 limited edition products will be offered during this time, including exclusive Gundam Base Zone items. Model building enthusiasts have the opportunity to take part in free workshops and paint sessions so that they can put their own hands on their models and proudly take them home with them. Gifts such as card cases and acrylic stands are also available for purchases over 1,500 baht.

GUNPLA Builders World Cup 2025

Another exciting event within the exhibition's supporting program is “GUNPLA Builders World Cup in Thailand (GBWC) 2025”. This will take place from November 5th to 9th, 2025 in Atrium 2 of the Siam Center. Competitors from over 17 countries are expected to present their best models to win the title of Thai representative for the World Championships in Tokyo.

Preparations for the GBWC are in full swing. Participants can compete in different age categories: U-20 for 16 to 20 year olds and OVER-21 for everyone aged 21 and over. Registration for this is open until November 30, 2025 and all information can be found on the official GBWC website. Numerous prizes await the winners, including the coveted gold trophy and exclusive Gundam models.

The BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY EXHIBITION 2025 is not only a celebration of Gundam culture, but also an opportunity to reflect on the evolution of model making over the last 45 years. The exhibition shows a look back at the popular GUNPLA models that have appeared over the decades.
