Pure enjoyment: Thailand Coffee and Rice Fest 2025 – A feast for all the senses!
In Bangkok, where the smell of freshly ground coffee and fragrant rice is in the air, the organizers are preparing for an exciting event: From December 4th to 7th, 2025, the Thailand Coffee Fest 'Year End' and the Thailand Rice Fest will take place in the IMPACT Exhibition Center Hall 11-12. This unique festival aims to not only spotlight Thailand's culinary culture, but also promote the local food and beverage industry, as thaipr.net reports.
The Thailand Coffee Fest has the theme “Coffee by Your Side” and will host over 400 stalls selling coffee, tea, pastries and other delicious drinks. Visitors can look forward to exciting competitions, including the Thailand National Coffee Roasting Championship 2026, the Thailand National Latte Art Championship 2026 and the Thailand National Cup Tasters Championship 2026. A highlight will be the Champion Village, where national and international coffee masters will reveal their tricks. The Coffee Club by SCATH also offers exchange and advice on the topic of coffee, while the Coffee & Rice Connect Stage offers expert lectures on the topics of coffee and Thai food.
A feast for all senses
At the same time, the Thailand Rice Fest invites guests to discover the variety of Thai rice dishes under the motto “Eat Local Food”. Over 60 restaurants present local and safe food, and the supporting program has a lot to offer: Thai rice cultures come to life in the TasteLab, while a live podcast with tips on food selection attracts curious palates. There are also workshops on safe food choices in the Home Cooking Classes and a market for local ingredients in the Food & Goods Mart. Another highlight is the “Farmer of The Year” award, which honors innovative rice farmers.
The event aims to raise awareness of local food and sustainable nutrition. Admission to these festivities is free and doors are open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in Thailand's culinary treasures and learning more about local agriculture.
Thailand at a glance
But what makes Thailand, officially the Kingdom of Thailand, so unique? Located in Southeast Asia, the country has a rich history dating back up to 40,000 years and is home to a dynamic population of nearly 66 million people, as wikipedia.org informatively summarizes. With an area of approximately 513,115 km² and a capital city called Bangkok, Thailand has played a significant role in the region - both economically and culturally.
Thailand, which remained uncolonized during Western imperialism, has retained much of its cultural diversity to this day. The majority of Thais are Buddhist and the official language is Thai. Thanks to its economic strengths in areas such as industry, agriculture and tourism, Thailand is one of the most important countries in Southeast Asia. With a focus on medical tourism and a high urbanization rate of 44.2%, the country remains a popular destination for international visitors.
The upcoming festivals are a manifestation of Thai culture and show how strongly local products are anchored in today's times. Coffee and rice – two of the central foods for Thai society – are the focus of this festival. If that's not a reason to visit the event!
