There is reason to celebrate in Bangkok today: Sony Pictures has released the new film “The First Ride – ทริปรั่ว ทัวร์ไทยแลนด์”. The film, which will be shown in cinemas from November 20, 2023, promises a cheerful mix of comedy and breathtaking landscapes of Thailand. This first trip abroad for four long-time friends is directed by director Nam Da-jung, who already thrilled audiences with “Love Reset”.

Kang Ha-neul is no stranger to South Korea's film and theater scene. The talented actor, born on February 21, 1990, has had an impressive career that began with his debut in the musical The Celestial Watch at the tender age of 16. He has made a name for himself with significant roles in plays like Thrill Me and Misaeng. He also collected numerous awards for best actor in various series such as “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” and “When the Camellia Blooms”.

After his military service from 2017 to 2019, things are looking up for him. In the romantic comedy “Love Reset” he was already at the top of the cinema charts in 2023. And best of all, next year 2024 he will take on a role in the second season of the popular series “Squid Game”.
