DSI presents successes in the international fight against drug crime!

On October 30, 2025, the FANC (Foreign Anti Narcotics and Crime) conference took place at the Radisson Suite Hotel in Bangkok, to which the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) was invited. The aim of the event was to shed light on the role of the DSI in the fight against international drug crime and to present successful collaborations. This conference was attended by 32 foreign law enforcement agencies operating in Thailand, as well as numerous Thai institutions, including the Attorney General's Office and the Anti-Money Laundering Agency (AMLO).

The General Director of the DSI, Pol. Lt. Col. Yutthana Paendham, and the Director of International Affairs, Pol. Lt. Col. Thinwut Silapath, appointed Udomkan Warohtmasikdit, Deputy Director, to represent the DSI at this important event. During the workshop there was a lively exchange of ideas to increase efficiency in the fight against transnational crime and to further strengthen cooperation between the various authorities. Such international conferences are crucial for learning from each other and developing common strategies.

Important topics and participants

In addition to the DSI, other Thai law enforcement agencies were also present, including the National Anti-Narcotics Commission (ONCB) and the Immigration Department. These institutions presented their respective roles and demonstrated the importance of cooperation between authorities to address the growing challenges of transnational crime. In an environment that is constantly changing, it is essential to create synergies and benefit from each other.

Criticism of Facebook for anonymous users

The uncertainty is causing many users to discuss their experiences. While some are simply encountering technical bugs, it remains unclear whether the behavior is unique to them or whether it is a general problem. Many people on social media are wondering whether anonymous users will still have the opportunity to use the platform sensibly in the future.

The discussions about the DSI conference and the challenges at Facebook show how important exchange and technology are in today's digital age. No one wants to be left out - whether it's fighting crime or sharing information on social platforms.
